Christmas Festival will be the first Saturday in December (December 3, 2011) at the Gazebo Park. 
(Next to the Shepherd Public Library.)

 Anyone wanting a booth please contact the chamber at 936-628-3890.

If they want to enter a float, call Bobby Carter.  
The parade route will be posted soon.

The festivities will start at noon.

There will be vendors, entertainment, the Pirate Jazz Band, food, games, Santa, The Tree lighting, a parade, and the Band Concert to follow the parade. The Band Concert will be held at the High School Gym and admittance will be a non-perishable item for the Shepherd Food Pantry (Helping Hands). The Senior Citizens will be serving chicken & dumplins again this year in their building.  I'm sure Rhett and Butler will be there again this year to take you on an excursion around the park.   Anyone interested in participating in events, helping to decorate or may have extra decorations they would like to donate, please contact the Chamber.
